November Ipsy Bag | 2016

Is there such a thing as TOO many bags? I think not.

I have tried a few different beauty subscriptions, and so far, none have been able to hold a candle to Ipsy. The price ($10) is right, and in the 6 months I’ve been subscribed, I haven’t been disappointed yet. There is a great mix of products I’ve been eager to get my hands on and products that weren’t on my radar at all. And honestly, who can resist those cute little sample sizes? Not me.

This month’s bag was no exception. I did get one repeat product, but it just so happened to be my favorite mascara EVER, so I’ll let it go.

This month’s treasures.

First things first–I can’t get enough of this bag. I’m not quite sure what I’m supposed to do with all of them, seeing as my makeup collection requires…a more spacious container. Though they could make great gift bags, and yes folks, Christmas is already right around the corner.

The products in this month’s bag cover all my beauty essentials–mascara, lip stick, eyebrows, and eyeliner. And Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara is my all-time favorite. In all honesty, I’ve never used a pencil to fill in my brows–I’m strictly an Anastasia Beverly Hills powder kind of gal–but I’m actually really excited to try out the Model Co pencil. I love that the pencil comes with an eyebrow brush too.

I’ve been getting a lot of chapstick from Ipsy lately. Not sure why, but you can’t have too many, right? I’ll admit, I typically use a lanolin chapstick that I buy in bulk from Amazon, but these extra chapsticks always find a happy home.  As for the eyeliner, I’ve been seeing this brand more and more all over YouTube, and I get why. It’s highly pigmented and it’s got major staying power. The lipstick, while not my favorite finish,–I’m all about that matte lifestyle–is a beautiful color, and will be perfect for Christmastime.
